On the 28th of February, IPSK was excited to launch an Employment Resource Guide. The guide lays out the steps required to obtain professional employment in Saskatchewan’s 73 regulated professions. An event was held at TCU Place for the launch of the Employment Resource Guide and there were a number of speakers. If anyone wants a copy of the Employment Resource guide, please contact IPSK. The people who would benefit from having a copy are Immigrants, Employers, and Settlement Workers.

The audience heard from government and industry leaders about initiatives and solutions to support internationally trained and experienced immigrants finding employment in their fields. The speakers were: IPSK Coordinator Jasmine Calix B.A., M.A., City of Saskatoon HR Representative Thiago Prado, MHRM, CPHR (c), City of Saskatoon HR Representative Eugene (Gus) Grosh, Chamber CEO Jason Aebig, Deputy Minister Clint Repski and MP Brad Redekopp. Also thanks to Sheri Benson for her excellent emceeing .
