Deanna Fahlman (Artfully Designed Wellness)
Deanna’s first passion was teaching English, which led her on a decades-long global adventure, earning a B.Ed, MA, and fluency in Spanish, French, and Korean. Her second passion is breathwork, where she helps participants explore their internal landscapes. Deanna’s sessions blend live and recorded music, nature sounds, and elements of joy, play, art, and movement. After discovering breathwork through the birth of her sons, she became an 800-hour certified Breathwork Practitioner and now loves sharing with the world – online, indoors, and outdoors – how the breath is our most precious resource.
Shirley Wei (Taste of China Academy)
As a Chinese Language School and a Chinese Culture Institution in Saskatoon, Taste of China Academy serves as a door for those who want to know and learn about Chinese Language, Tai Chi, and culture.
What is Tai Chi? Tai chi is a gentle, low-impact form of exercise in which practitioners perform a series of deliberate, flowing motions while focusing on deep, slow breaths. Often referred to as “meditation in motion,” tai chi aims to concentrate and balance the body’s qi (vital energy), providing benefits to mental and physical health.”
Tina Marki (Karmaburn Yoga)
“Tina is a dedicated yoga mentor and founder of Karmaburn Yoga. With nearly 20 years of yoga experience and international RYT® 200 certification, she has guided hundreds of women in Canada, Hungary, and Serbia to reconnect with their true selves through yoga, meditation, and relaxation.
She believes that yoga is an empowering tool for women to balance their inner flame and shine brighter for themselves and their loved ones. Her vision is to create a supportive and vibrant community of women who uplift and inspire each other.
Darren Welsh- Sound Bath (8th Chakra)
I began playing crystal singing bowls over 6 years ago after I discovered sound baths on my healing journey. For me, sound baths have allowed me to go deeper into meditation, connect with myself, and gain insight and clarity. 8th Chakra was born to help everyone raise their vibration and to help connect your physical and spiritual body.
I love performing sound baths at various locations in Saskatoon, from theatres, churches, and event spaces, to welcoming you to my home, which I share with my partner Adam, and our 2 dogs, Charlie and Laisey.
